DJ service trailer stolen from W. Wichita neighborhood

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – People traveling in the Wichita area are encouraged to look out for a trailer that was stolen from a yard in western Wichita this week. The trailer is designed for ARM Entertainment, a company that specializes in providing music and entertainment for wedding receptions.

The five foot by eight foot fiberglass trailer was stolen with thousands of dollars’ worth of equipment inside. The surveillance video shows the alleged truck of theft that got the business owner in trouble.

ARM Entertainment owner Alex Hunt said he has seven weddings planned this month as well as a fundraiser this weekend. The stolen equipment includes lights, speakers, a DJ booth and much more.

“If you think you’re seeing equipment online that looks new … there are some big 15” speakers, there are two different QSC-K subs (subwoofers), there is a big, huge 15 “sub – We actually built it ourselves, ”said Jagd. “If you see any of these things, call the police because of course we want to salvage the stuff so we can carry out all events with the equipment we promised the brides and the people who hired us.”

The surveillance video shows the suspicious vehicle, a red pickup truck early Monday morning, November 29th. The footage has a time stamp of 1:31 AM

Hunt said many in the community have sought help and borrowed equipment for his upcoming events.
