It was only two years ago that he turned the decks at Frogmore House for the intimate wedding reception of Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan.
Now DJ Fat Tony says it was “jealousy” that drove the couple out of the UK. Tony says, “It’s typical of us in this country – we build people and then try to destroy them.
“God forbid they wanted to live their own life.
“I think it’s human nature to be jealous. We shoot down things that we don’t understand.
“And with Harry and Meghan, nobody understands what was going on – it’s all speculation and they never talked about it. So let’s hate them. “
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “not too smart” to move to LA and expect privacy
At their wedding, Prince Harry, who was known to have met Meghan for the first time, had a secret Instagram account that complimented Tony – real name Tony Marnach – on his social media personality.
Harry and Meghan, who moved to Canada briefly earlier this year, have now bought an 11 million pound estate in Santa Barbara, California, where they live with their one-year-old son Archie.
Fat Tony, who also hangs up for the Beckhams, is relieved to see Harry and Meghan happier.
He says, “If you are doing something that you do not love and are not happy with it, then don’t do it. There is always another option. “
Fat Tony, who has been Kate Moss’ “sober coach” since she quit drinking three years ago, is a partner in the decaffeinated tonic Innerji, which sponsors its recovery podcast.
Rylan’s embarrassing approach
Some of us may feel embarrassed when we encounter someone who is famous when shopping for underwear – not Rylan Clark-Neal and Dame Barbara Windsor.
The former EastEnders landlady gave young Rylan her best advice when the couple went through the lingerie section of Selfridges pants.
“I met her after meeting her on X Factor a few weeks earlier,” reveals Rylan. “Her husband Scott was there and I said, ‘Oh, nice to meet you,’ and she said, ‘No darling, you’ve met him before’.
“She said to me, ‘Always nice to see you, never nice to meet you because you probably met the bastard.’
“That got me out of so many cases – I think I actually have jobs with it.”
Scarlett’s pop-up pub
Good news for anyone who still doesn’t feel comfortable going to the pub: the pub can come to you.
Scarlett Moffatt invited Mama Betty to a surprise 50th birthday party in a pop-up pub in the garden, to which 30 guests were invited.
Betty, who plays the lead role on Gogglebox, enjoyed a swing singer and disco appearance, as well as a cardboard clipping by Robert De Niro.
